Brenham

Brenham covers more than one job. The lakeside property is landscape work: broad turf lawns curving around mature trees, planting beds and a paver terrace, with seating set straight onto the grass. The courtyard greens are a different problem — tight, overlooked spaces between buildings, turned into putting surfaces with cut-in cups and river-rock borders.

What the two have in common is the edge detail. Every one of these lawns and greens meets something hard — a paver band, a stone border, a brick walk — and the turf is trimmed and anchored to that line rather than tucked under it. That is the difference between an installation that still looks deliberate in year five and one that starts creeping at the margins.
