What Can I Expect From Turf Cleaning & Infill in Houston?

Yes. A lot of the turf we clean was put in by someone else, and the brand does not change how we clean it. What does change the job is how it was built. On the first visit we flood a small patch to see how fast water drains, pull the fibers apart to see how much infill is left, and check that the backing is perforated. If the build has a problem that cleaning cannot fix, we tell you before we start.
A turf cleaning works on the surface: the fibers, the top of the infill and anything sitting on them. It is the right visit for most yards. Turf extraction goes deeper. It flushes water and cleaning solution down through the infill and the backing and pulls it straight back out under suction, so urine residue comes up instead of washing down into the base. If a dog yard still smells a day after a good rinse, it usually needs extraction, and we will say so.
Then the smell is coming from deeper than the surface, and we will not sell you the same visit twice. There are three usual causes. Urine residue built up in the infill and backing, which is what extraction is for. Spent infill in the dog's favorite lanes, which needs replacing. Or water that does not drain out of the base, which is a drainage job. In rare cases the base is soaked through and the turf has to come up so the base can be rebuilt. We check for all of these on the first visit.

Every turf cleaning follows the same five steps, in the same order. The order matters. Brushing before the surface is clear grinds dirt deeper, and deodorizing before a rinse just covers the smell.
We Check The Yard First
We walk the turf with you and find the problem spots. We flood a small patch to see how fast it drains, check how much infill is left, and look at the backing. You get an honest read before any work starts.
We Clear The Surface
Leaves, sticks, pet hair, dust and solids come off first. Brushing a dirty surface just grinds that mess deeper into the pile, so this step always comes before the brush.
We Power Brush The Pile
We run a power brush against the grain across the whole area. Flat fibers stand back up, and dirt packed down into the infill comes loose so the rinse can carry it out.
We Rinse, Sanitize & Deodorize
The whole surface gets rinsed and sanitized, then treated with an enzyme deodorizer made for artificial turf. Pet spots get extra attention, since that is where most smell starts.
We Level The Infill & Walk It With You
We brush the infill back into the low spots and traffic lanes. If an area needs new fill, we show you and price it. You get a care routine in writing before we leave.

How Much Does Artificial Turf Cleaning Cost In Houston?
It depends on the size of the turf and what it needs, so we price it after we have seen it, never over the phone. A small yard with light use is the simplest visit. A large yard, heavy dog use or infill that needs topping up adds to it. The first on-site assessment is free, and you get a firm price before any work starts.
If the assessment turns up thin or spent fill, we can price an infill addition at the same time. If a dog yard needs more than a surface clean, we will quote turf extraction instead, and we will tell you why.

There is no single right number, and anyone who gives you one without seeing your yard is guessing. A yard with no pets and few trees can go a long time between professional cleanings. A yard with two big dogs under an oak tree needs it far more often. We look at your turf, how it is used and what grows over it, and then tell you what makes sense. If your yard needs regular visits, we can set a schedule with you.
