Towne Lake

The whole rear yard is one uninterrupted run of turf, from the pool deck out to the far edge of the property. There is no mower stripe, no seam line and no thin patch under the shade of the house, which is what usually gives a big lawn away.

A lawn this open is the hardest kind to get right, because there is nothing to hide behind. It comes down to the base: laser-flat grading, a compacted aggregate that drains, and seams pulled tight and stitched so they disappear into the grain. The turf runs flush to the coping and the patio slab so nothing catches underfoot.
