This is the corner nobody photographs: the pool equipment pad, with the filter, pump and valve manifold standing against the fence. Here it has been finished in turf right up to the pad and the fence line instead of being left as gravel or bare dirt.

It is a small thing that makes a real difference in a side yard, because that strip is otherwise a permanent weed bed you have to spray. Turf gives a clean, dry surface to stand on while you service the equipment, and it drains, so backwash does not turn the corner to mud.
